Wells, it was initially 12 stories tall, eventually climbing to 14 stories and a total of 145 ft. Built in 1910 for a cost of $750,000, the Colcord building was originally an office building, but in 2006 was renovated and converted into a hotel. Interestingly, its next door neighbor to the west is the current tallest building in Oklahoma City, the Devon Tower.
